harmon.ie, a leading provider of user experience products, today announced that its latest product, Collage, secured second place in Microsoft’s 2016 Best Office App Awards during the Microsoft Ignite conference. The full list of winners can be found here.
Collage claimed second place in the Best Office App category. harmon.ie had one of the first applications in the Microsoft Office Store when it launched in 2012, won a Best App Award at SPC 2014, and was named a 2015 Office and SharePoint Microsoft Partner Finalist.
The Collage Outlook add-on aggregates notifications from business apps, documents, and social tools into Outlook. When viewing an email message in Outlook, Collage surfaces key topics contained in the message and displays related notifications from other sources of information such as Office 365, Salesforce, Zendesk, Yammer, and more. By identifying topics that span a range of information sources, Collage enables workers to see the big picture. Then, it enables the workers to take action and share updates from within Outlook, without losing focus or context, or being forced to toggle between disparate application interfaces.
“It is the highest honor to have Collage be recognized by Microsoft for this prestigious award and we are truly excited to see how our new, genre-breaking application can help lessen the information overload plight experienced by workers every day,” said harmon.ie CEO, Yaacov Cohen. “Collage leverages the popularity and universality of email to provide information workers the context they need to get their jobs done without forcing them to learn or add a new tool to their work experience. In today’s app-centric user experience, meeting workers in their email comfort zone is key to adoption and functionality. Collage addresses this increasingly best-of-breed cloud world and makes sure every email is coupled with all other relevant updates from the across the business.”
Collage introduces various key technology innovations like machine learning and artificial intelligence-based topic generation and matching across cloud apps – features not found in any other third-party vendor solutions. In addition to being the first third-party solution to leverage the Office Graph API, Collage also utilizes the most extensive set of Microsoft APIs of any vendor.
