Enterprise mobile collaboration leader harmon.ie today announced the appointment of software veteran Kobi Carlebach as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Carlebach will draw on 15 years of experience as a financial and management leader to help harmon.ie continue its growth trajectory in 2016.
“2015 marked a turning point for harmon.ie,” noted Yaacov Cohen, co-founder and CEO of harmon.ie. “We saw explosive traction with partners and customers, and expect even stronger demand in 2016. Kobi will play a critical role as we continue to grow in the Microsoft ecosystem and add new collaboration capabilities with other cloud providers, putting in place the financial structure and critical business processes needed to support multiple products in the Microsoft ecosystem and beyond.”
Carlebach will focus on preparing harmon.ie to rapidly scale into new partner- and vertical-driven markets, building on 2015 momentum including a 220 percent year-over-year growth in enterprise licenses sold, 73 percent year-over-year growth in partner-led sales and 300 percent year-over-year growth in the number of harmon.ie channel partners.
An expert in highly strategic financial operations, Carlebach brings with him extensive experience leading finances for technology companies ranging from high growth startups to multi-billion dollar enterprise software providers. He comes to harmon.ie from Voyager Analytics, where he served as CFO for the big data analytics startup. Prior to Voyager Analytics, Carlebach worked as vice president of business control and operations at Perion, a leading Israeli Internet company formerly known as Conduit. At Perion, he led all finance business activities in the company’s $300 million monetization division, Codefuel. Before that, Carlebach served as finance director for Amdocs’ Ocean Division, where he was in charge of the division’s annual budget of over $30 million. Carlebach began his career in finance as an audit manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers.
“Companies are rushing to unlock the full potential of the cloud, and harmon.ie has emerged as a leader empowering organizations with the information and context required to succeed,” said Carlebach. “I am thrilled to join the executive team as harmon.ie enters a new phase of snowballing growth.”
Carlebach earned a master’s degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University’s Recanati Business School, where he majored in Financing-Accounting and Technology Information Systems and graduated with high honors. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and economics, which he also earned with high honors from Tel Aviv University.
